Looking to cool off on the water? Take a kayak trip on the Cuyahoga River through downtown and make your way to Lake Erie! Enjoy the great views of our city from a whole new perspective. Need to rent a kayak? Check out Great Lakes Watersports in The Flats. If kayaking isn’t your cup of tea, they offer boat rentals as well! If you're looking for a more relaxing way to spend a day on the water, head down to Edgewater Beach! Catch some rays, relax or grab a drink at Edgewater Beach House!
Enjoy a sunny afternoon bike ride or walk on the new Red Line Greenway! Take advantage of two miles of lush greenery with amazing views of CLE. The Red Line Greenway connects so many different communities making it not only a great way to get outdoors, but also an awesome chance to pop-off the trail and experience other wonderful parts of downtown!
If you want to make your way out of downtown for a day - look no further than the short 30 minute trek to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Before you head out, swing by Citizen Pie Roman Cafe on East 4th Street and grab some grub for a picnic lunch at the park! Hike your way through The Ledges, and be sure to make your way to Bluehen and Brandywine Falls. Make the best of your day away and be sure to explore all that the park has to offer!
